Great value, great staff, great location The rooms are nice, clean with comfy beds. Great location, its a short walk from lumphini metro station with a market with loads of cheap food very close by and a seven eleven for beer next door. The wifi is fast and accessible in all the rooms and even upstairs on the fantastic rooftop communal area. Staff were very friendly and, when asked, helped with suggestions for not only Bangkok but also the rest of my journey. All in all great value for money and a very nice place to stay. — Anonymous , England (2012-01-18) Great value for money, only social with the right people. I have been staying at EtZzz for almost three weeks now, something that most travelers would not really plan to do. I am doing a yoga course in Bangkok, and since it is hard to find an apartment for just one month, it is nice to stay at a hostel close to public transport (Lumphini station) for a good price. The hostel was not really social when I first arrived, the people in the dorm rooms just would not really talk to each other. Luckily this changed after a week or something, and we started to hang out a lot and have quite some fun. (On the rooftop. During Songkran. Getting cheap food across the street. Watching silly Youtube movies.) For me, it would have been nice if Etzz would provide some kitchen equipment -- like a fridge, microwave and hot water kettle. Being a vegan, it is not that easy to buy food in the streets. The supermarkets have a great variety of foods on offer, but it would be nice to be able to fix myself a bit more of a proper meal. It would also be nice if there would be soap provided in the bathroom areas. Or some pillows on the roof, maybe in a container to keep them dry from the rain? Most of the staff was really friendly, although they weren't always there when you needed them during the evenings or nights. It felt a bit strange to truly have the place to ourselves with no-one keeping an eye out. Everything is industrial (great look!) and cleaned daily, although some disinfection of the dorm would not have been a bad idea. Overall, I am enjoying my time at ETZzz Hostel and would recommend it for people that are looking for an affordable place to hang out and see another bit of Bangkok. Everything is easily accessible from here (the train station, airport, shopping malls, Khao San road), but if you really want to go partying or are looking for a very social place, you might be better off going to Silom or K.S.road area. — Saar G. , The Netherlands (2011-04-20)
