Nice Hostel, friendly staff The hostel is a very nice place for backpackers with free coffee and tea, dishes, TV. The rooms are also nice and clean. You get all the basics to need. Nice dorm (lockers would have helped). Huge lounge / communal area. Kitchen rather small. Located close to beach / coastline, about 30 mins walk from Railway Station. Good value. — Dean , UK (2010-09-18) Good Location, Good Hostel We stayed here one night before setting off along the Great Ocean Road. It's right by the beach and just out of the center of town. When we arrived the lady working there was apologetic that the last "Proper" double room had been taken, but there was another that was a converted garage that they usually let out to truck drivers which we could have a look at. Well, the room was really nice, it was clean and inviting and just what we wanted, and I'm pretty sure we got some money off with it being an out-building! The kitchen was fairly small but well equipped, and the common room was very good. It also had parking around the back. — Dave and Sarah , England (2007-12-11) Very nice hostel I've stayed in this hostel several times as it is conveniently located at the end of the Great Ocean Road. If you do a trip GOR and Grampians, this is the place to stay. Very nice common room, good kitchen, excellent bathrooms, and good rooms. The owners sometimes hang out in the common room and are friendly people. — Richard Boeve , Dutch (2007-08-20) Definitely a great place. The common room is huge, and has a gigantic tv with lots of dvd', and a nice pooltable. The rooms are big and clean, and so are the bathrooms and kitchen. The price is a bit high, $23 for a dorm (6 persons) a night, no discounts. Still, the people are nice, and will pick you up from the train station. So, if you plan to stay a bit longer in Warrnambool it is a great place to stay. — Max, NL (2006-12-03)
