Apollo Bay Backpackers

Molly, my irish molly..... greeted us at the door and showed us to our room. What a homely, clean and cosy place. The two women who ran the place were so sweet and friendly and kept the hostel in tip top conditions. My fear of spiders went out the window as there was not a cob web in site. Great place. Great time.

This is a great little hostel. More like a home away from home as opposed to a backpackers. Fantastic value for money too, and that's before including the free breakfast. Apollo Bay is a great stop-off on the Great Ocean Road, and the town centre is only a 5 minute walk away from here.

It's a small place - you feel like you're staying at a friend's place instead of a hostel. It has a great atmosphere and hosts, pleasant rooms, and a clean, well-maintained bathroom. It's a bit of a walk from the town center (it is right on the town boundary) but it's substantially better than the competition. I would happily recommend it.
