2  Not quite how it's advertised Well, I based my decision to stay at the Hub based on a brochure they produce which said they will pick up from the airport (with conditions). Well, when I rang they said that they don't pick up under any conditions and I had to pay for a $14 shuttle to get there form the airport. The brochure also said a huge kitchen. There is only a little hutch that you could not fit two people in plus there is no TV/lounge room or anywhere to eat food once it is prepared. It's just really quite a strange place and I left to go to someplace else, which was fantastic.  , UK ()
4  Negative Decor, Clean, Tidy, Awesome beds, friendly helpful staff We booked this hostel because of the photos we saw on its website. Well, the webmaster must be good in taking photos or he must be good in photoshop. The building looks to be a bit old -- there is a restaurant and a pub downstairs. The staff were really friendly and tried hard to accommodate every of our needs -- I really appreciate all his help. The decor at the corridor is a bit old, especially when we got into our room. There was actually a big hole on the wall but I thought that was nothing doggy. The room was a bit tiny for four people, especially that there were no storage area. Well there was a cupboard but it was old and a bit full of dust. There was a hole on the ceiling too, which I believe that it was used to hold a chandelier. Ok all the negative comments end here. The good stuff starts here -- new spring beds! They are not too hard and not too soft -- just right! white, clean bed sheets; quilt cover sheet; and pillow case. It's as clean as you see from five-star hotels! free parking around during night, meter parking during the day. Some curbside parking in front of the hostel but be aware it's clearway -- my rental car nearly got towed as clearway starts at 7:30 a.m.! Tow truck waiting for me since 7 a.m.!  , Australia ()
5  Really friendly, clean rooms, and awesome bar! Heard it was under new management. The place is awesome, got there on a friday, great timing as they had live music and so many cheap drinks. They'll bend over backwards to help you out, tours, food, chit chat, they got it all. Highly recommended, loved it, will be back for sure.  , England ()
4  Great hostel in the middle of Launceston, close to the bus depot and with free airport pick up.  ()
