CENTRAL on Kangaroo Island. QUIET, clean atmosphere.
...1/2 way to the majority of the Island's most popular sites.

Fully self-contained kitchens.10 minutes drive from central township.

Fresh air, fire light under the stars and a quiet location just out of town. And guess what- this Hostel has only 8 bedrooms so can only sleep up to a maximum of 24 people.

There is also the added choice of PRIVATE accomn- a 3 bedroom Original Soldier Settlement House- also fully self-contained accomn.2 bedooms with doubles and can sleep up to 11 people. Bath and wood fire heating. Next door to and part of "'TIMBER CREEK LODGE".

Nocturnal Tours can be arranged or go on a dusk or dawn walk or bicycle ride between the bush reserve and pine forest...

Signposted. Easy to find. Hosts are farmers with local knowledge.

...just like 'home away from home' and the hosts were very friendly and helpful too.The best part was that we were centrally located , so not so far to see all the things we wanted to see andwaking up to fresh country air, chattering birds and then we discovered the sunrise and sunsets...
