Wonderful place to stay Thank goodness we stumbled on this place! Home from home, friendly fun people, and nice quiet rooms. Reception staff were fun and really helpful. I felt at home as soon as I checked in and the help and advice that I received when I was booking tours was second to none. Forget travel agencies, these guys really know their stuff! The place is kept really clean as well.

Fairly nice, reasonably clean and quiet, but the weird layout meant that we could hear all the noise of the kitchen from our double room. So for two days we slept badly from 6 a.m. onwards as people got up to make breakfast. A bit far out of town, too.

A nice, friendly place. We stayed in a double room, which was a fairly good size and clean. The mattress was kind of old, though! It's in a quiet part of town but not too far to walk. I would recommend it to anyone not looking for the party hostels.

This is a great, laid-back hostel with a warm, homely atmosphere. It's in a lovely Queenslander building, across the road from the train station. It has a nice pool. It's not a party hostel. I would recommend it for couples or older travelers.
