This place is great. I hope these two brothers still own the hostel. They are really cool guys who won't try to rip you off!

This is a very laid-back, stress-free, clean and fun place to stay. I really loved the people there, too. They were so polite. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Hello Greg, we hope you'll read this! We're not just disappearing from Australia without saying goodbye. We had a beautiful time in the Big Backyard. Hope we'll meet again...

I have been here twice, and I loved the lazy, quiet atmosphere. It was good respite for my liver. The place has great facilities -- cooking, bathrooms, and rooms -- so you can stay in, and cook for yourself and not always be tempted by backpacker rituals of drunken debauchery. You always have the Wool Shed's free meal, and a taxi bus to get into town. It's a lovely sanctuary.

This place is really nice and clean, with a half decent pool and facilities. The only problem was the lack of life, but I suppose that would change with a diffrent bunch staying there.
