Secluded Springs is definitely a must if traveling Australia. It is one of a kind, there is nowhere like it on earth. You're traveling, it's supposed to be a holiday but then you find yourself picking fruit, and if you have to do it, why not somewhere where you wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise over the dam, work the day away in the oz sun with that awful powdered dirt, come home and jump in the always refreshing dam and go for a swim before you make yourself tea and settle down around the campfire? Secluded Springs is a weird but wonderful place!

If you're planning to do a period of two weeks work or more then this is your best option in the area. The owners really look after you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. As a group of friends traveling together, we enjoyed how relaxing, cheap and safe this place is. And it's also the cheapest hostel in the area, no matter what people say.

To anyone out there wanting to "get away from it all" for a while: go to Secluded Springs. I've been travelling a fair bit, but I have seldom seen such a relaxing and fun place. You can even get a free hat — if you dare to do a "nudie run."
