Bounce Sydney

Bounce Hotel really does cater for everyone, with room configurations ranging from dorm rooms for solo travelers to hotel-style rooms for couples or families. Still, it somehow manages to retain its friendly and welcome atmosphere and makes the perfect base to easily experience the best that Sydney has to offer.

The Location

Directly opposite Central Station, Bounce is within an easy public transport trip of most of Sydney's nightlife, food, and attractions. Heading to and from the airport is just as simple, requiring only a ten-minute train ride to the domestic terminal or a twelve-minute ride to the international terminal.

Rooms and Bathrooms

Everything at Bounce is modern, from the interior of the building to the furnishings. Rooms and common areas are cleaned daily and unlike many other hostels, they have no stench. Dorms range from four to seven beds and female only dorms are available. Each dorm room includes sizable lockers (bring a lock) with ventilation holes and power points inside to assist with the charging of laptops/electronic gadgets. The hostel feels very secure in general, entirely operated on a key-card system and with CCTV cameras throughout.

The bathrooms are also very clean. The private shower cubicles are spacious and provide hooks and a shelf, keeping your clothes dry while you have a nice warm (and high pressure) shower.

Common Spaces

The rooftop terrace in undoubtedly the nicest feature of Bounce Hotel. Looking over Central Station and the CBD, it provides the perfect place to have a drink with your fellow travelers. The communal kitchen, lounge, and dining areas are on the same level and are very well set up with comfortable furniture and modern appliances. A smaller and quieter movie room is also provided on another level. Management organise activities a few times a month to encourage interaction between guests but the atmosphere is always sociable, whether chilling out in front of the TV or having a drink on the terrace.

Summary

Not a bad word can be said about Bounce Hotel. Everyone from the first time to the lifetime traveler can comfortably stay for days or weeks and most return again.
