Great location! This place has good facilities. When I first arrived in May '97, there was a great crew of backpackers living there. Everyone gradually left, but we had a great time in the place. Is Pete still around? He was a bit mental, and a pervert with the ladies, but he gave us some good laughs, and ran a tight ship. This is a good place to stay, either for a short term or a longer term.

I stayed at the Aegean for over a year. There are most definitely pros and cons to this place. There were on my last count 45 cameras at this place and as for the hidden ones — well, I will leave that to you to figure out. Pete the Greek can be sweet but he also doesn't take any messing around. I have to say, though, that I had some amazing times here.

It's my destination whenever I go down to Sydney. Despite the fact I have got many places to stay in Sydney, I always prefer to stay there. Pete is a great guy and always helpful.

I stayed a couple of months here. It was good overall, I did hear about the peeping-Tom camera saga, though. I don't know if its true. The Greek man on reception is lovely.

I spent heaps of time at Aegean. There were a lot of friendly people there, and it was easy to get work. I just love the garage at Aegean... WEEEEEEEEED =:)

A long time ago, this place was taken to court over the surveilance cameras in the bathrooms / showers. Whoever used to own it "likes to watch".
