Terrible Hostel, if you're young, and in need of a good place to stay that cheap by the beach, don't go here!, its in phuket town so its really, really far from any beach. The closest beaches are about thirty minutes by car/motorcycle (Kata beach by the way). It's best to stay here if you wanna really be away from it all, civilization that is. This is a good hostel, clean and very cheap. All the rooms have twin beds, so there are no huge dorms, and the rooms go for a very low price! The only problem with this hostel is that it is in Chalong, which means it is difficult to get to the beaches. Transport is not very expensive, just difficult by public bus. This hostel is close to Wat Chalong however, so it's nice for a few nights. It has a friendly staff! — Tanja (2004-11-22)

The hostess here is very friendly. I felt very much at home at this place. The food is good, too. However, it is far away from the town and beaches, so factor travelling costs into the price of the cheap nightly stay. — Daniel from Australia (2004-10-17)
