Beware!
If you need to cancel this hostel they will charge you whatever fee they choose. I canceled nine days prior to the booking and they charged me 50%. When I called to enquire what was going on as they never informed me they were extremely obnoxious and rude. I've never had this type of cancellation policy in a hostel/backpackers before and it doesn't belong. It is an easy way to take advantage of travelers so beware!

Worst ever
Simply -- if the counter staff and duty manager weren't as arrogant and as rude as they were, I would have looked past the fact sheets were unavailable upon booking in, the common room TV set had a green tinge, only one hotplate out of six worked in the kitchen, the mattresses were lumpy, and for backpacker accommodation it was overly priced for what was provided, and the most expensive I've stayed in. More important than anything else, did i mention the staff were arrogant and rude?

Great hostel. Very clean, sparkly, and new. It's in the centre of Jindabyne and a short walk from the coach stop and shops. There is a great atmosphere during the ski season when I was here and you can always get a lift to nearby Thredbo and Perisher. Really recommend it.
