Charged me for their mistake The hostel screwed up my booking, they had me down to arrive a month earlier than I booked. Charged me for the room for that night anyway and then hung up on me when I was trying to find out exactly how much they had charged me and book the room for the current night.

Grand, not a palace! I thought that this place was grand, sure I dont know what some people expect for such little money per night! Ok it was a bit dirty but was great craic for partying and groups of people. We were a group of seven lads just going up for a wild weekend so it suited us down to the ground!

Awful I stayed here with three friends. The room we had was grimy, the bunkbed was more suitable for kids, kind of wobbly, hard to climb up, the pillows, mattresses and duvets were old and worn out and the bedding was stained. The blind had fallen down, a bright spotlight shone down on me the whole night from the balcony which was locked. It was cold especially because all the windows were opened all day, presumably to fight off mould. It smelled musty and damp. The kitchen was grotty and locked a lot of the time. The water was cold, on both days I could not wash or shower. The whole place was seedy and I'm sure two of the photos on the cheery website are of the owner's house, which is next door. There was a large stag party in, who kept us awake the whole night, the owner did give us a refund for that night out of their deposit, but as we were only there two nights, feeling tired and grimy did spoil our trip. At no time did she intervene to shut them up though she later claimed she did. It is overpriced for such a shoddy dive. I would not let my cat have a holiday here.

Kind of disgusting We stayed at this hostel in April of this year. Generally the hostel smelled musty and the kitchen was poorly equipped and in generally poor condition. The pillows and quilts were torn and filthy once you took the covers off. Will not stay there again.

Noisy There were very noisy party groups in the hostel. Luckily I managed to sleep three to four hours. The hostel was a bit messy.
