Description
A warm welcome awaits you at this friendly family run hostel situated on a working farm in scenic Islandmagee. Our peaceful and comfortable accommodation is one and a half miles from the main coastal route (A2, and half a mile from Ballycarry Railway Station which gives easy access to and from the ports of Belfast (18 miles) and Larne (7 miles). This neat and fresh self-catering hostel has 18 beds - 2 per room - hot showers, central heating, excellent cooking and laundry facilities available.
Local attractions include rambling, bird-watching, horse-riding, diving, sea-boat excursions, fishing, golf and bike hire.
Ford Farm is convienent to both Larne and Carrickfergus (seven and a half miles to each). Facilities in these towns include Norman castle, cinema, leisure centre, shops, restaurants and fast food outlets. The local town of Whitehead (only 2 miles away) is a beautiful seaside town with local amenities and a relaxing coastal promenade walk. The local food store is less that a quarter of a mile from the hostel.
