Situated on the North-West Coast of Ireland between the rolling Donegal Hills, and the majestic Atlantic Ocean, overlooking lovely Bruckless Bay, we are delighted to be able to welcome you to DARNEY.
The nearby villages of Dunkineely, Bruckless and St Johns Point host a wealth of historical and cultural gems. Feel the age, magic and wonder... the rich druidic civilization of this truly beautiful land. The history of the area can be traced back some 5000 years, evidence of which is to be found in the castle and friary ruins, wedgetombs and ring forts located nearby. This place is a must for sea anglers too, with many rivers and lakes practically on the doorstep, and less than an hour's drive will take you to Letterkenny, Glenveigh National Park, Enniskillen, Sligo.

HOSTEL:- 18 beds only, 2 self catering kitchens. Comfortable dining area, common room with log fire. Free Hot Showers. Bed linen supplied at a minimal cost. Diving/Fish Tackle/Boat Hire can be arranged. Clean and quiet. A really relaxing experience....

Own Kitchens, Free Hot Showers,Laundry Facilities,Home Baking,Ample Parking, All ages welcome.
Traditional music in local pubs during the summer months. Ideal area for rambling, hill walking, beachcombing.NO CARAVANS PLEASE.OPEN ALL YEAR.
