Very welcoming!! We arrived at this hostel when every other room in Doolin was filled. Gerard let us stay in dormitory room when there were only two of us. He even let us have the key so it could be a private room. He stayed up late in the night talking with us. Truly an excellent example of Irish hospitality! — Bertram , USA (2010-08-09)

I have also stayed at this hostel with my family some time back. It is a clean, convenient place in the heart of the traditional Irish music capital of Ireland. The people who own the place are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's minutes from the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren by car, and just a few minutes walk to the pubs that house that great traditional music. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy. — Mitchell Q. The place was clean and friendly. The location is very good giving you the advantage of enjoying the lively pubs of Doolin. — gokuri (2006-11-03)

We have stayed here on our last four trips. This is a well-kept, well-run, clean, and comfortable hostel. It is a family-run place, with showers, large dorms or family rooms. The people who own the place are friendly and helpful. There are large kitchen facilities and a cozy sitting room. The surrounding views are spectacular, as are the pubs, which are only a three-minute walk from the hostel. Go and enjoy. — Bri-Bri (2004-04-25)
