Perfect haven of tranquility and comfort desmond is a truly friendly and helpful host with a wealth of local information in one of the most beautiful parts of ireland. the facilities at The Carriage are excellent. we stayed at The Mill House in 2006 but have returned six times since to stay with Desmond at The Carriage -- sleeping in the perfectly restored old Victorian railway carriage. we would recommend this place to lovers and adventurers alike. it is everything a good hostel should be -- friendly, comfortable, welcoming, clean, and located in a perfect haven of beauty and tranquility. — gerard lorraine + 2shy , ireland (2008-10-21) Probably the nicest hostel in Donegal Co. — L & P (2005-11-30) I have only been here once but am planning on a return shortly. Our rooms were spotless and the lounge and dining areas were delightfully charming. The beauty of the Sheephaven Bay area will remain with us forever.
