Not a bad place to stay
It's not super close to Gamla Stan but if you don't mind walking, it's easy going to get there. There are supermarkets close by and the kitchen is quite good. The 303 dorm room was spacious and the beds were comfy. There are almost enough power points for each person but they aren't next to the beds. The showers have good flow and temperature control but they aren't completely enclosed so you'll be sort of showering with two other people. The wifi is fast when it works but occasionally it would take a few minutes for my phone to connect. You need to pay extra, 50 SEK I think, for bed linen but all hostels in Sweden seem to be like this. I'd stay here again.

Great value for money
Excellent facilities. The kitchen is really fully equipped (4 gas stoves, 2 water heaters, coffeemakers). You can also find left but fresh food from previous travelers for free. (Note: it is clearly written on those particular shelves, so please do not take it from anywhere else.) We have stayed in a four bed private room with my friends (including a 12 year old girl), where everybody had her own compartments. The locker keys were attached to the room card. The room was pretty small for 4 with two bunk beds, but the excellent mattresses made comfortable my sleep. The hostel is situated in a really quiet neighborhood, but consider the fact you should walk about 10 minutes to the nearest metro station (Zinkensdamm). Nevertheless, the receptionists were really kind, and gave us additional sheets for free. There is also a cozy restaurant/bar in the hostel, and you can chat/play games borrowed from here with your friends in the drawing room without disturbing fellow travelers. I will definitely suggest this hotel to anybody who plans to visit Stockholm. It is maybe not the cheapest option, but if I compare the room price to my most expensive beer ever (78 sek for a pint), it is really worth every krona.
