Hostelz.com's Review
Hostel One Granada is a cozy, off-central location but within walking distance to most attractions of the city. The homey atmosphere provides good opportunities to meet other guests and a simple inclusive breakfast of all-you-can-eat toast/cereal/butter/jam/coffee/tea and milk is provided.

The Location

Granada is a bit of a shopper's paradise, and an easy drive from one Southern Spain's most beautiful sights, the Sierra Nevada mountains. The hostel, located down a narrow lane off one of the main strips to town, is simple enough to find with a little patience and a bit of asking around. Parking can be a small nightmare -- and beware, it is enforced and violators will be towed -- but it is free. A nearby supermarket and trendy little restaurants will keep you well fed.

Rooms and Bathrooms

Dorm rooms are mixed-sex double bunks with secure lockers and heater/air conditioners. There are also windows that open up and enough room to move about comfortably. Beds are clean and comfortable, while bathrooms are well stocked and maintained. Showers are mixed sex and have good pressure with hot water depending on the number of users. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible, so be sure to request in advance.

Common Spaces

The kitchen is clean, small, and basic. Though the lack of proper dishware and cookware makes preparing meals difficult, there is a range with four stovetop burners, but no oven. A microwave is provided, as are one-and-a-half refrigerators for guest use. The toaster should be replaced as it is ancient and the smell of burnt toast is a common occurrence. The kitchen could use a good set of knives and a proper set of coffee cups. There is a outdoor common space where people go to smoke, and the attached dining area doubles as lounge, which means it can become quite cramped if the hostel is at capacity. Upstairs are four swift internet machines and Wi-Fi is excellent. Meeting travelers is easy, though little is planned by the hostel in way of outings.

Summary

A nice, cozy hostel down a quiet lane is what you'll find at Hostel One Granada. It is easy to access and a good base for exploring the town and the area, and even venturing up to the mountains.

Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
3   Quiet and Clean. Very average hostel. This hostel is really quiet and clean. But they don't have enough map, so i should buy it at information center. And the computer is too hard to use. Wifi is really nice. Bathroom is not enough to use many people in that hostel. Kitchen is really clean. Location of the hostel is not that great, but if you like to walk around, it is not that important.  , age 22, Republic of Korea ()
