Location	•By car • Road E18 will take you into Karlstad regardless if you come from the west via perhaps Gothenburg, Oslo, or east via Stockholm, Kristinehamn. From both of these directions you shall take off by the Centrum exit where you will also see signs saying Kasernhöjden and Polishus. Here you will also see the big red brick buildings up on a little hill right next to E18. The hostel is the first building above the Våxnäs round-about, which you will come up into from either direction after taking the Kasernhöjden exit. Go towards Polishus and then first road to the right and upp the hill.

With fourteen people did we stay a night in the hostel during may 2007. It took us a while to find it, but the hostel itself is perfect. Everything is in good condition, big kitchen, and nice rooms. They have just moved into a newly renovated building and it's all really very nice! Friendly staff and very nice rooms, no hard, back breaking bunk beds. We walked into the shopping centre of Karlstad in ten minutes, which was close and good. The breakfast buffet is yummy! — Katrin (2007-02-19)
