Everything a hostel should be I stayed in Gottingen for a weekend to watch the Final Four of the European club basketball tournament, and I couldnt have picked a better accommodation. The hostel is comfy, neat, just a short walk away from the basketball arena, and by far the most inexpensive accommodation around. Yet, it doesnt feel or look cheap. It is a rather new place, and they did a good job in making it comfortable and inviting. The rooms are not crammed with beds and furniture, and there is a rather large common area with kitchen, TV, and a Foosball table. The staff seems to be mainly students, and they were very helpful and nice. I will definitely be back, next time I am in the area. Even without basketball, Gottingen seems quite an interesting city, and sure worth an overnight stay. — Orthopedix , USA (2010-05-21)
