The hostel is on the left-hand side. • • Train • BY AMTRAK RAIL: From the Oakland or Emeryville Amtrak stations, take an Amtrak shuttle bus to the Ferry Building (at Market Street and the Embarcadero). Take a MUNI metro train from the Embarcadero station (near the Ferry Building) to the Powell Street station. Walk 2 blocks north on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell Street where the property is located. The hostel is on the left-hand side. • • Bus • BY GREYHOUND BUS: The bus stops at the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. Walk out to the front of the terminal and take MUNI bus #38 to Geary and Taylor streets. Walk 1 block south on Taylor, and turn left on O'Farrell Street. The hostel is on the left-hand side. • • Airport (SFO Airport) • BY BART TRAIN: Get off at the Powell Street station. Walk 2 blocks north on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell Street where the property is located. The hostel is on the left-hand side. Shuttle services are available. Location was perfect - just next to CableCar station, Center of the City, BART-Station, MetroStation, good location for shopping! Breakfast was also ok, selfmade Waffels everyday is fine if you just stay a couple of days (for me it was 1 week and that was quite a long time for this kind of breakfast every day!). Good clean facilities, central location, friendly staff, free waffles! Great experience! Very centrally located, right next to the streetcar line. Neighbourhood has a fair bit of homeless characters but they seem to have struck a truce with the other residents of the district. Close to nightlife too. Rooms are basic but clean.
