Good hostel, in ciudad viejo great international staff I stayed at 2 hostels in Montevideo, I liked this one better. I was there in November 2010 and it was not crowded at all. My dorm room was airy and light. Bed was new and comfortable. They gave me good advice on places to see and stuff to do.They play excellent music. good hot water in showers. Clean and neat. I would return there without question. — Rambling Robert , USA (2010-11-17) Green Hostel -- more like Yellow Fever Hostel compared to other hostels I have stayed at in South America, the staff were not helpful, nor were they very friendly. Room felt like a sauna, no fans, no breeze. TONS OF STREET NOISE starting around 4.30am. The absolute worst part is that I am now COVERED in mosquito bites. I couldnt sleep at all because they were biting me all night. Would have been nice had the staff mentioned something about that. guess they were too busy drinking beer and having a good time with their friends to notice they were actually at work. — MH , United Statse (2010-02-02)
