Description
The Wanderlust is a cozy NEW hostel set up by travellers for travellers. We hope to service like-minded visitors who seek to push beyond postcard tourism in the pursuit of a lifetime of memories and friendships that stretch across continents.
Located away from the Khao San area, in Sukhumvit and just 5 mins away from the Ekkamai BTS and bus station, The Wanderlust offers our guests a chilled, cozy and social atmosphere with convenience of getting around right at your fingertips. We are located at a secure location right next to the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam.
Also, The Wanderlust is in close proximity (walkable distances) to a beer garden, awesome nightlife, mall, cineplex, Big C (large supermarket), Health Land (famous Spa and Traditional Thai massages), Thong Lo and much much more!
The Wanderlust believes that being cheap (pun unintended) does not mean compromising on our quality. All our rooms are CLEAN, ensuite and we are FULLY air-conditioned. We offer opportunities to socialize by organizing outings and activities for our guests. We also have genuinely friendly staff , free WiFi, complimentary breakfast, an on-location mini bar, outdoor chillout patio and much more!
As travellers ourselves, we understand that it is really all about the people, the food, the culture and the experience. Having said that, we have to admit that The Wanderlust is not for someone who is seeking a 5 star hotel experience. Our intention is to charm our guests with quirks and personality, and we sure as hell hope to provide our guests with an experience that is unique and homey.

RULES...
No outside visitors, prostitutes (male and female) or "friends" are allowed in rooms. Not even if they are extremely hot.
Please respect other paying guests by maintaining silence after 11pm. The hostel becomes a silent sanctuary/monastery after that time.
The common areas close at 11pm. If you wish to continue drinking, flirting or socializing, please remember that we do not have a curfew and head to the Irish pub round the corner, or the 24 hour beer garden next to the BTS.
Late night access (after 10pm) to the hostel is by key only. We lazy arses at The Wanderlust will certainly not entertain any coy knocking on the doors or windows or crass ringing of the doorbell.
If you brought along with you family heirlooms or gold bars, we have a safe and secure room to store it. Just ask! The rooms and the hostel are as you see it. We do not have any secret infrared security alarm or biometric potential thief detection systems in place.
Breakfast is served from 8-10.30am on a first-come-first-served basis only. The Wanderlust is not a "mummy" service so when you are done preparing your own breakfast, clean up after yourself.
Checkout is at 11am. There are no negotiations or exceptions. It's not that we are kicking your arses out but we need you to move your crap out so that we can start our cleaning routine. Failure to do so will incur an additional night's charge.
The final yet most important rule. Make yourselves at home! Although we sometimes run very much like a thick-skinned imposing member of your family, we only want you to feel absolutely comfortable and happy. That said, we don't want you to get too comfortable and start slapping us around. We will not tolerate sh*t like that! =)
***Important Information ***
a) Please note that arrivals between 10pm to 8am have to be confirmed via email or phone and notified with details of your arrival schedule or your bed will NOT be kept for you. There is also a late arrival service charge of 150 baht per person for check ins during that time.
b) We have a 24 hour cancellation policy and the 10% deposit is non-refundable. In the event that any bed/room cancellations are not made 24 hours prior to the check-in date, such bookings will be considered as no shows and your bed will be given up.
c) We do not have a lock-out time but the reception is only open between the hours of 8.00am to 10.00pm. Should you arrive when the reception is closed, please be advised that we have a luggage storage area. However, we will not be held liable for any missing valuables.
d) Laundry, printing facilities and towel hire are available.

When you turn into Ekkamai Soi 2 from Sukhumvit 63, turn on your first right into the small lane. We will be the building with the christmas lights right in front of you. • -=AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS=- • Please take the 'AE3 Suvarnabhumi-Sukhumvit - Wireless Road' bus to the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai, Sukhumvit 63) and follow the directions on how to walk to The Wanderlust from the BTS/Bus Terminal. We are 5 mins away. Buses leave in 30-45 min intervals. • Airport Express operates between 05:00 and 24:00, 7 days a week. Cost per person for the entire route is 150 baht for adult and 50 baht for child. • -=PUBLIC BUS=- • By Bus that stop at Sukhumvit 63 take #2, 25, 501, 508, 511, 513, including buses that go to Ekkamai Bus Station. • By Bus that stop at Ekkamai Soi 2, take #23, 72. • -=RAIL=- • Once you arrive at the train station, please proceed to the Hua Lamphong (main train station) MRT station and take the MRT down to Sukhumvit station.
