Far from centre of town, but food was excellent Stayed here two nights (June 26-27, 2010) in the male dorm. Some drunk Dutch guys came in at 2am, but weren't too bad. En-suite bathroom was clean. Lockers in the room would've been nice. Dinner for 10 euros was excellent (way more food than one person could possibly eat) and the all-you-can-eat breakfast was really good as well. The only real downside is the fact it's quite far from the centre of town (take the bus from the train station). — Anonymous , Canada (2010-07-25)

Well, this hostel was clean and roomy. But I was thoroughly pissed off when, on my second night, the night doorman took some pocket cash for himself to let some rowdy drunks into the hostel at 3 a.m. (as told to me by the drunk gentleman entering my room), and allowed a couple to come into my girls-only dorm room so they could have sex! Then, to top it off, the night doorman wouldn't admit his mistake until 7 a.m. when his boss arrived in the morning. And they wouldn't give me a refund, they only rebated 10 Euros, which brought the price of this hostel down from most expensive of my trip to higher than average but not quite most expensive. This is, of course, part of the fun of staying in the hostel, but I give an average rating for the fact that this shouldn't have happened in a girls-only room. — Haley , Canada (2007-04-10)

I came to this hostel during the World Cup last year in 2006. There is a beautiful forest nearby that is awesome to walk around. And really the whole hostel is covered in trees. A great big breakfast awaits you every morning. They have a lovely downtown area and it got into full party mode when I was there because the Dutch were playing. A memorable time in the Netherlands. Arnhem is a distance from Amsterdam -- at least thirty minutes. I thought it was closer -- and I picked this place as everything in Amsterdam was booked up. — Llewster , Australia (2007-04-04)

I stayed here a night in 2003 and two nights when I went to the concerts of Madonna in 2004. The facilities are ok. The room, the toilets and showers (in the room) are clean. Breakfast is all you can eat and there is lots of choice. The hostel is out of the center, but the busses come and go frequently (from the Rijnstate Hospital) and bring you in 15 minutes to the city center. — Alwin Verhoog (2005-08-31)

I visited this hostel in April with my college. The hostel owners were very welcoming to all of us, and were very friendly. The rooms were really clean, and had en suite bathrooms. The bar and restaurant were excellent, providing great food and drink. — Anonymous (2005-04-26)

This is a very nice hostel. We went here with a school, I enjoyed it. Except for the stairs to the Rijnstate Hospital, they make me tired :D — Stunt 101 (2003-10-15)

Very helpful and friendly staff. And I enjoyed the national park with the free bikes. — Anonymous (2003-10-04)
