Location	From the Bus Station: Cross the pedestrian footbridge from the Bus Station to Iguatemi Mall and take the "executivo" bus to Praça da Sé at the bus stop outside Iguatemi mall. Get off at the last bus stop and walk to "Ladeira do Pelô" hill, walk down the hill and then up the "Ladeira do Carmo" hill. You'll find the "Pestana Convento do Carmo" hotel at Carmo Street. Duda hostel is located in the same street, number 15, just 20 meters from the hotel. Alternatively take the bus Duque de Caxias also in the same Terminal Mall Center, get off in front of the school ICEIA Barbalho, walk down Cerqueira Campos street until the "Igreja dos 15 Mistérios"Church, and from there to the Cross of Paschoal which is part of Carmo street, where is located duda hostel. From the Airport: Take the Airport-Praça da Sé "executivo" bus, get off at the last bus stop and walk to "Ladeira do Pelô" hill, walk down the hill and then up the "Ladeira do Carmo" hill. You'll find the "Pestana Convento do Carmo" hotel at Carmo Street. Duda hostel is located in the same street, number 15, just 20 meters from the hotel. As the attached map. Nice room with balcony, not many travellers so dorm was quite empty. Good value for money. Great breakfast of eggs and fruit. I dont know how tha usual standard is at the hostel but during my stay there I got a room that smelled like urine. The smell was to much and after one night me and my girlfriend had to leave to find another place to stay.
