I inspected the hostel today so that I would know whether or not to recommend it to my snowcat-skiing guests and I was very impressed. From the outside, it's hard to tell, but inside they are doing a complete renovation — brand new bathrooms (very important!), clean and classy kitchens, decent carpet, and newly repainted with nice colors. The owners are also very nice, no-nonsense people. For $20/night it's a no-brainer if you're looking for a cheap and social holiday. Save your cash and use it for more skiing... or catskiing!

Brian [the owner] is great. The rooms are very clean. There is a great atmosphere among all the people who are there. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's far above what you would expect from a hostel.
