Hostel Guananjuato is a small property where we have 4 private rooms, a male dorm and a female dorm, common areas as our TV room, kitchen, terrace and internet.
Our house dates from 1875 and maintained its structure until 1927 when it was transformed in its interior and retains its original facade.
In the year 1992 it opened its doors to the public as guest house and serving until 2009 that has changed Hostel in order to provide a service to all travelers who visit Guanajuato and want a clean, cozy and well located.
Our facilities are perfectly equipped to welcome you to your stay in the heritage town.

Great location, Angelica is very friendly and helpful! Amazing deal if you take the price into consideration. Beds are really comfortable. I don't think she speaks English, so if you stay here you should try to speak Spanish.

The location is fantastic! It's in a street full of bars where a lot of students hang out at night! The main square is only a few minutes to walk. The girl working there is really friendly and nice and the hostel is really clean and cozy. Great value for the money!

There is a common room (but terrible TV reception). Kitchen/fridge available (but without cabinet space for plates, etc., everything in piled onto the small sink counter space). You can't beat the price but, don't expect great facilities.

We stayed in a private double room which was clean and secure with a nice shower. The property is only a few blocks from el centro histórico and about 10 blocks from the university and el acueducto (aqueduct). The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a comfortable common room with 2 computers, a TV and a CD player/stereo.

Who wanna spend some time in the center of a historical city and stay in this buildings will find a good place in the Hostel Guanajuato. It's an old traditional house, like all in the center, but a good hostel with all you need.
