Description

The Leuven hostel, opened in 2003 (an old school renovated into a modern youth hostel with a cosy patio), is situated in arguably the prettiest city in Belgium. Loads of historical buildings, an amazing city hall, a "beguinage" unlike anything you have ever seen before ...... But also: Marktrock, a huge but cosy city festival in the middle of August; The "Oude Markt", the largest bar of Europe; the Stella Artois brewery .... And Brussels and Antwerp are just a short train ride away!

Stayed here for two nights in April 2006 while visiting a friend studying in Leuven. Rooms are clean and spacious, staff are helpful and the location is excellent being one minute walk from the train station. Safe to say one of the best hostels I have stayed in. — Chris (2006-04-08)
