When I first arrived at the hostel, I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by a beautiful woman that ran the hostel. She helped me get situated and was very friendly. I got the keys to my room and relaxed for a little bit. (Afterwards, I found out that not all of the hostels you can actually relax at.) This is the only hostel on Maui, that I know of, that is actually spic-and-span clean and very quiet. Although, I had one roommate most of the time, there was plenty of room. This hostel also offered a nice size kitchen and a couple of bathrooms, a guy's and a girl's. Also, it had a TV and to my surprise free wireless Internet if you have the 802.11g card in your laptop. I was so happy that I am coming back for another two months and staying in December. You can't beat the rates, especially since it is hard to find a hotel room anywhere on the island for less than $100. So, you basically can stay four days for the price of one. It definitely allowed me to use my money in more fun ways, since you don't come to Maui just to lay in the room. Any questions feel free to ask, a great experience. Plus, just in the short time I was there, I met people from Montana, California, Poland, Switzerland, and Denmark. Good times, good times! Aloha brah!
