A bit noisy, but fun I have stayed in this hostel a few times over the past years. I have met a lot of interesting people at this hostel, but it tends to attract the noisier crowd, so have a pair of earplugs handy. The hostel is clean and has nearly all the necessary facilities as well as free breakfast. Study the map before you arrive and come prepared for the mosquitoes in the summer months. — Anthony , USA (2010-08-16)

Average The owner was friendly and helpful. The free loaner towel was much appreciated but the furnishings were average. The hostel doesn't have much in the way of ambiance or atmosphere but it's a perfectly decent place to lay your head. It's hard to get to from the station (Hapjeong) if you don't print out the map on their website. It's located in a relatively quiet suburb. "No alcohol, no violence, and absolutely no dead-drunkenness." Two computers with free internet access available although frequently occupied. They had a thoughtful patio. My only complaint is that they had a mosquito problem. I came away with dozens of bites as did everyone else there at the time (late September). — Kristin , USA (2008-09-25)

Guest house is clean. Neighborhood was dirty, but didn't feel unsafe. There's no curfew, and what this means is that the front door lock is taped so it can't be locked. Met a lot of interesting, helpful people (many repeat guests). It's difficult to find, so try to arrive during the day so you can see the landmarks. One computer, boots slowly, but Internet is fine. Lockers are small, so put locks on your bags. Heat is turned off during the day -- the place doesn't warm up well in winter. Warning to ladies -- dorms are coed, and Mrs. Kim did not hesitate to put a young woman in a room with five guys since she's never had a problem in six years. — Anonymous (2007-01-14)
