This is a great place for a night's rest.
This is a bed and breakfast that is also advertised as a hostel. The proprietors rent out bedrooms in their home. If you stay here, I recommend paying the extra amount to eat their home-cooked breakfast. The hostess is very talkative, and will give you a lot of good information about the area.

If I could give a minus rating, this place would get it! Make no mistake about it...this is NOT a hostel. It is a Bed and Breakfast. The only 'shared' accommodation they offer is that all rooms are double rooms, mostly with double beds. No food or drink is allowed in the rooms. There are no kitchen facilities. No common area. And the rooms are cluttered with dolls, soft toys and baby clothes. I guess if you are willing to pay in excess of $30 for these privileges, you'll possibly like it. I found a service station a few blocks away, where they allowed me to use their microwave oven, then I took my food back to my room, where I enjoyed it. Later in the evening I made a nice hot milk drink in the same microwave, and once again took it back to enjoy in bed. The bathroom was just so-so. Not a place I would recommend.

I stayed one night in the summer of 2003 and really enjoyed it. The hostel is really part of a bed and breakfast. The rooms have large comfortable beds and the feeling is rather cozy. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and was disappointed my stay was so short.
