The Hostelz.com Review
It's a very clean (really spotless) backpackers. Actually it's sometimes intimidating for its tidiness (the dorm beds too are made every day}. The common room is right next to the common kitchen, and it's side by side to the in-house bar. It looks a bit like "granny's cottage" with silverware and lace curtains too, but it's very warm and the couch is just about the best place to watch a video and relax. All rooms are ensuite with soap and towels too. The Spar is only 3 minutes away and so are the shops of Main Street. Don't miss Louis' (the manager) scones and pancakes breakfast.

Great!! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Place was very clean! Free pickup. Most comfortable hostel bed I've slept on! The place is generally quiet, if you're looking for party atmosphere this is not for you. Within walking distance of mall, sights, and restaurants. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Staff were attentive and helpful regarding local activities (they even booked activities for you on request), breakfast was very good. Plett's main high street is less than ten-minute walk away and the area felt very safe (if you go to Plett, eat at Franko's restaurant -- amazing one-hundred-eighty-degree panoramic view from their open-air restaurant).
