I really enjoyed the breakfast, toasted baguette with jam and butter, fast wifi (i love to download movies!), pretty decent location - 2 mins from hoan kiem lake (plus near a supermarket although it's hidden away)... oh and the thing I love the most is the free beer hour... not particularly for the beer (although the drinks at the bar are very cheap because it's just a hostel bar) - but because travelers who are from all over just mix together and chat and share their experiences and it's just fantastic because the beer and cheap drinks (compared to full on bars/nightclubs) is perfect for meeting new people and getting a little tipsy while chatting away to some French bird talking about Dijon... or some Italian guy who just went to Ha Long Bay... Overall I pretty much liked everything. Cheap overall price too.

A fantastic hostel in a great location of the old quarter. The staff were fun and very helpful with tour and transport information. They arrange the best and cheap tours to Halong Bay and Sapa. The rooms were super clean and the beds really comfortable. With free breakfast and free beer what else could you ask for?!!

Excellent hostel. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The place has an excellent location and is very clean. Did the Halong bay tour and Sapa trek with the hostel and both was really well organize and great value on tours. Stay here if you heading to Hanoi.

This property was in a great location in Hanoi. Although the rooms are fairly cheap, I expected it to be a bit cleaner. The atmosphere isn't all that great in that particular hostel, although they have "free beer"for an hour at the hostel down the street. It's acceptable for the amount of money you pay.

Great location, free wifi (in room) and free beer at happy hour. Rooms and bathrooms are relatively clean and after arriving at 5am, they let us check in early into a different room so that we could nap and shower before properly checking in and moving rooms. Staff are also very helpful.

This hostel was ok, clean beds, nice staff. Breakfast is included but it is a piece of bread with butter and jam, so don't expect much. I'm not a beer drinker so that didn't appeal to me, but I'm sure I'm in the minority there. The location is a little outside of the old quarter, but still in a good spot for walking to wherever you need to go. Some great cafes and shops nearby.
