A clean hostel with FREE WI-FI I was so happy to walk into a hotel and be greeted in my own language -- French -- the new managers speak french, dutch, german, norwegian and both speak english well. We felt safe here as one of the managers is a nurse. The new managers were so friendly and down to earth. We stayed in a 2 person dorm with its own shower and toilet which was immaculate -- it turns out that every single room in the hotel has an en-suite of its own. The room was clean and fresh and the beds had mattress protectors and sheets supplied along with a pillow and 2 blankets ... all included in the price... we paid only AU$26 each.There were lockers in the rooms as well and a good sized mirror over the basin. The shower cubicle was clean ... no mold to be seen which was a lovely surprise as the last hostel we stayed in had mold everywhere. There was a large kitchen which was so clean ... it was refreshing... in the kitchen was a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and loads of crockery and cutlery. the dining room, tv room and downstairs foyer sitting areas all gave you access to FREE WI-FI. This is not advertised anywhere and we didnt know about it until we got there and saw the sign. Only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. — Pierre , France (2010-12-25) Unexpectedly fabulous! This accommodation has to be the best in Launceston for the price. Managers were so helpful and friendly -- nothing was too much trouble -- and the room had everything I needed. It was warm, quiet, comfortable -- easily able to stay here for an extended period. Lovely clean and comfortable kitchen, dining room and lounge. So central!
