Luckily I met some nice people. When I wanted to leave early (for reasons below) the money for my second night was refunded. They also stored my bag after check in.

The staff was pretty nice, the breakfast is served for longer than what they say in the webpage.

Not much considering that when we arrived we didn't have a room before they had double booked the rooms meaning I had to sleep on the floor for one night so i didn't sleep on the road. The manager put us in our own room the next night but didn't give us sheets or anything and the staff didn't understand

Located on one of the most hilarious streets, not too long (approx 10 minutes walking) to Temple Bar, free Internet, comfortable bed, helpful staff

...i liked the staff/owners and i liked the other guests but even with the clean sheets, I didn't feel that the hostel was as clean as it could be BUT, I must say, I only just started going to hostels, so maybe I am not a good judge. I liked them, though and the place had.....character.

The staff and other guests were so very friendly that I extended my stay from the wednesday until the Sunday, there was free dinner on Thursday and free BBQ on Saturday which was great fun, everyone was made to feel a part of things, had a great stay and will definitely be back.....

The shower was dirty (hair,...) and obviously had not been cleaned for ages.
Huge noise coming from the bar downstairs in the middle of the night.
A member of staff came into our room at around 2AM (drunk? or thinking it was empty).
The kitchen is very bad : one saucepan for the whole hostel! A poor sink, not emptied bin...
And some other drawbacks.
But the location is not too bad (15min walk from city centre, direct bus to city centre and airport).

The staff was friendly and well-intentioned, the rooms were comfortable, and the cleanliness level was better than I'd been expecting.

Everything was fine and the price was just awesome! The only big minus - the kitchen was lightly dirty and not well equiped.

We had no water in the room or bathroom. In the night a staff visited our room and screamt that we´ll get a new person in our room. Our room was already full. The heating was too hot! And the breakfast was toast and instant coffee. Not really nice.

Nice and cheap hostel. Not that close from turistic stuff but still a good hostel. I recommend.
