The newly opened Grape Garden House near the heart of HongIk University, also known as Hongdae, is here to offer our guests free and relaxing atmosphere.

We host BBQ in the garden and parties on our 2nd floor "living room size" balcony.

Location	•Location • Grape Garden House has a Midtown location in Hongik Univ. area and provides a friendly, safe and clean environment in which you can enjoy your stay in Seoul. • In the heart of Hongik University (Hongdae) area, our guest house is located in the quiet residential area adjacent to the famous walking street "geut go sipun gil" which means the "want to walk road". • There are numerous clubs and restaurants near the HongIk Univ. area including a lot of various live performances and exhibitions. You can easily experience the unique culture and art of Korea. • Seoul's most popular tourist attractions such as Shinchon, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace etc are within 10 minutes by subway. • Directions from Incheon Airport, Limousine bus #6002 (fee:9000 won) • 1. Exit door # 5 or # 12 on the 1st floor at the airport • 2. You will see the sign ' 5B ' or ' 12B ' • 3. Take an Airport bus No. 6002 at gate 5B (or 12A) (9000 won) • 4. Get off at 'Hotel SeoGyo' ( the second Stop of the bus). The bus ride takes about 40mins. • 5. As soon as you get off the bus at SeoGyo Hotel, look at the same direction of where the bus was heading to and walk few steps. • 6. Turn right at the intersection when you see 'Omuto Tomato' and within sight distance you'll see a Starbucks Coffee shop. • 7. Turn left at the Starbucks coffee Shop. • 8. Here is the famous "guet go sipun gil" and keep walking for another 100 meters. There are various pubs and restaurants and shops on each side of the street. • 9. Turn right at the "Buy The Way" convenience store. • 10. On the left side of the street there're unique cafes and clothing stores, walk another 100 meters. • 11. Turn left at the "GS25" convenience store, and you'll see Grape Garden House on the right side. • Directions from HongIk Univ. subway station • 1. Exit #4 to come out and immediately turn right and walk a few steps you'll see Family Mart. • 2. Turn right and walk a few steps and you'll see the convenience store "Buy The Way", make a left turn. • 3. On the left side of the street there're unique cafes and clothing stores, walk another 100 meters. • 4. Turn left at the GS25 convenience store, and you'll see Grape Garden House on the right side.

Got to Seoul on a very cold January night so the underfloor heating was immediately appreciated! Only stayed in Korea one night but the girl who was there when I arrived took me out to meet the owner Min and some of his friends and they were incredibly friendly, generous and fun so it was a fantastic way to spend one night in Seoul. We (2 of us) stayed at Grape Garden House for 6 nights. The location is excellent, in the heart of the Hongik University area. It's a trendy area with plenty of cheap restaurants to eat out, and Min, the owner of the guesthouse recommended many good places for us. The guesthouse is not far from the Hongik University subway stop, so it was easy to explore Seoul that way. The guesthouse was comfortable with ondol heated flooring (we visited in winter) in all of the rooms. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans with which to cook with in the kitchen, and a cheap supermarket close by. We stayed in a private room and it really was private. It was very quiet and the owner did a good job keeping the house noise levels down after people had gone to bed. The guesthouse was cleaned on a daily basis while we were there. The landscaping was also done while we were there and the whole house seemed to be well-maintained. There was a computer with Internet access available, as well as free Wi-Fi with 2 wireless networks running. We didn't have any problems getting online. The owner knows a lot about backpacking and travel photography and gave us some good advice on both topics. We will definitely stay at the Grape Garden House again in the future! The grape garden house has been fantastic! The bedrooms and the bathroom were very clean and we were allowed to use a lot of things for free there. The location could not be better, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, small clothes shops and clubs close by but the location of the hostel is very quiet. The owner was really nice and tried to help us as much as he could.
