Beautiful, quiet location
Two dormitory cabins with comfortable bunk style for four singles in each plus excellent heating, bedlinen, and towels provided. Other types of cabins available. Separate cabin providing very modern, clean kitchen/dining amenities; another cabin provides laundry and older style bathroom facilities, needing an upgrade but everything works ok. Outdoor campfire pit and outdoor picnic table. Easy off-road parking at front office and can easily access luggage to cabins. Friendly, helpful hosts make this a very good base for excursions around Haines. Only drawback was lack of email address to enquire and book accommodation there. I would definitely stay again on my next trip to Alaska.

I stayed here for two nights in the summer of 2003. It was a great price in a good location and was very clean. It's about 1 mile out of town.

I have stayed here on 2 different occasions. I like it because it has cabins and when there are 2 to 4 of you, you pretty much get your own cabin. The facilities are older but they were clean. Staff were great.
