4 Just 10 pounds for night very cheap but far from the city centre. All in all it worth the money you pay.   — Anonymous (2010-05-04) Hostelbookers
3 It was cheap!   — Anonymous (2010-05-03) Hostelbookers
3 The building is old and this gave the place a cozy feel to it. Very good for the price.   — Anonymous (2010-04-26) Hostelbookers
4 Very friendly, relaxed staff (they kindly helped us even though we arrived in the middle of the night), but a bit un-organized. Fine as sleeping accommodation (easy to reach from the city centre), but not really a backpacker's atmosphere.   — Meilof Veeningen (2010-04-20) Hostelbookers
5 Very friendly staff. Enough atmosphere but quiet-enough at night to get a good sleep. Plenty of facilities for the customers staying. A good location for University of Sheffield.   — Anonymous (2010-04-18) Hostelbookers
4 Peaceful. Although far from city centre, good connections with public transport.   — Tomislav Juric (2010-04-14) Hostelbookers

3 cheap, nice single room, huge mess, not the best location, to stay for a few nights it is ok because it is not the most fun place to stay.free wifi form the students living there, thank you!   — Arturas Filipavicius (2010-02-14) Hostelbookers
5 Its a great location for me and the staff are really helpful. Its a very comfortable place to stay.   — Helen Burke (2010-02-11) Hostelbookers
2 Nothing. The facilities were dirty, the sheets had not been washed from the previous customer, the noise in the office kept me from sleeping.   — Anonymous (2010-02-04) Hostelbookers
2 nothing about this property can i say i liked, but for £10 a night- one night was ok.   — Anonymous (2010-02-01) Hostelbookers
3 the location was handy for me to get to uni quickly and easily however there isn't many shops/facilities in the immediate area. the accommodation is very basic but for £12 a night I didn't expect anything else.   — Lora Tesseyman (2010-01-16) Hostelbookers
3 Walkley House was a very cheap place to stay at. The rooms were nice and spacious, the furniture a bit old but still functioning well. I'd recommend this hostel to those who are looking for a fairly cheap place to stay at regardless of the neighbours and facilities. In the end the place is ok, but you have to be lucky to get nice neighbours so that you can feel really comfortable during your stay at Walkley House.   — Anonymous (2009-12-20) Hostelbookers
3 As described this is mostly a student property but it is a big building with probably 40 rooms. The good thing is you get your own room with bed, desk with a shared kitchen, bathroom for about 5 people and you dont get bothered every day. The location is in a residential estate so don't expect lots of local amenities but there is a Morrisons supermarket 10 mins walk away down the hill. Best way to get there is on the supertram (straight from meadowhall interchange 20 mins, city centre 10 mins) getting off at Bamforth Street stop then walk up the hill. When i was there they have put signs up to find reception which helps.   — michael tucker (2009-12-07) Hostelbookers
4 It was a good location for me. The room was very comfortable and warm and the car park was private and secure.   — Anonymous (2009-12-04) Hostelbookers
1 cheap cost of room   — Patrycja Tobolska (2009-11-30) Hostelbookers
