Less than five minutes walk to the famous Double 6 beach, The Island Hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, night-clubs and bars; and the shopping district is right on your doorstep.
We know that meeting new people is the best part of traveling, so we have designed a variety of rooms to suit all budgets. In this way all different types of travelers can come together, to make new friends and share their stories. No matter if you are emerging destitute from the jungles of Borneo or arriving via private jet looking for a place to park your designer luggage we have something here that's just right for you.
We also include the dreaded 15-22% sales tax usually added on elsewhere, so there are no nasty suprises at the end of your stay.
All rooms includes a light breakfast.
The hostel itself features 10 luxurious double rooms, 2x deluxe dorm, a very cool rooftop bbq & bar area, an infinity pool, cafe, in-house massage service, wi-fi internet, travel desk, airport transfers and most importantly a super friendly vibe.

Pleasantly surprised at its general vibe and look. Everything feels almost like you're staying at a friend's place. The pool is lovely and the general hangout areas are comfortable and relaxing. Much more than I expected for a hostel; the beds are clean and made up by invisible cleaning people everyday. the free breakfast in the morning was adequate for me, but for those of you who need more than 2 pieces of toast, fruits and a pot of tea, there's other delicious stuff on the menu. Towels are handed out like it's nothing; some hostels go crazy on their towels. We stayed in the dorm; each bed has it's own locker light and space. Ceilings are high so it's not cramped; there are curtain dividers so you get a bit of privacy. Tours and transport arranged at the reception are highly reliable and they don't rip you off. Wifi is free, although a bit choppy. The Island also has activity nights like BBQ mondays and movie night wednesdays.
Great place to meet people, but also a good place to just hole up and relax on your own. It's a very do what you want place. Beautiful too.

The Island hotel was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly, the dorm room is large and airy. The beds are so comfortable and they have curtains which was a really nice touch. It was a really great experience staying here.

The location is perfect only a 5 min walk to the beach and shops, restaurants bars are all around. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and will do almost anything for you. The hostel is very clean and housekeeping even make your bed for you in the dorm rooms (never seen that before in a hostel!). It's a great place to meet people and make friends especially if you hang out by the gorgeous pool! There is free wifi, a free massage, cheap cocktails on the terrace bar and a free breakfast which is very welcome after a night out partying in Kuta! Also, the food is delicious especially the pizza and salads and the kitchen staff never fail to smile and make you laugh. Really had a great stay! :)

Loved it here! I stayed in the dorm room which was really nice, clean and quiet. Showers very nice too. Other guests extremely friendly - people invite you out for dinner, or you end up arranging trips together. A great place to meet people on your travels. So nice for a hostel! Gorgeous pool and roof terrace.

This place was great! Very friendly and clean, large dorm rooms and a great pool. Only 5 min walk to beach, and 2 minute walk to everything you need, yet it is still nice and quiet. Was only going to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying 5 and will be going back there next time.

The accommodation was really nice and well kept - room, pool, cafe, terrace etc. Communal areas are well laid out so good for meeting others. However, the location was fine but I did not like that part of Bali - dirty and trashy but each to their own.

This place is amazing...although it's a hostel, it's more like a hotel but with the hostel atmosphere! The set up is great, everything you need, a cafe that serves great pizza's, a rooftop bar with awesome cocktails, a gorgeous pool and plenty of communial areas, where you'll always meet people! We stayed in a private twin room, with super comfy beds, fresh crisp white linen, private bathroom, air con and TV. The staff are great, really friendly and the location is perfect, in a nice quiet lane, but close to everything! Will definately be staying here again!

The Island was an amazing experience!! The place is gorgeous, everyone is soo friendly and the vibe is fun yet chilled. We stayed in a private room which was so comfortable with lovely beds, bathroom and air con. Loved the free massage and free delicious light breakfast. Neil the manager is a really great guy, full of tips of what's happening around the place, best venues to visit and sometimes even took us to places! And don't forget to try Andre's delightful cocktails. You have to try this place, I miss u Island!!
