Description
Yellow Piano Inn & Burg Lengeling is an alluring place to unwind in a welcoming and tranquil atmosphere. Discover enthralling art made from concrete and bottles, meander through open nature or meet our tame zebra Johnnie W. Stripes. Treat yourself with scrumptious home-cooked meals. You find us just 20km from Grahamstown, Africa’s festival capital and the ‘City of the Saints’ with her famed architectural and cultural heritage.
The architecture of the many forts of Frontier Country and towers of Grahamstown inspired the main structures of Yellow Piano Inn at the farm Burg Lengeling. Using contemporary materials concrete and bottle art became a consistent feature. The cottages are each furnished in different themes: the romantic ‘Villa Sunset or the chaste ‘Monastery’, ‘Afrique’ decorated with afro-kitsch and ‘Out in Africa’ looking colonial.
Our venue is located on top of a small hill with stunning views of nature and sky in all directions. The beautiful nature invites for walks and picnics. The bush and grassland slopes down to a cosy meadow at the small side arm of the Blaauwkrantz River with alluring spots to sit down and let go.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing walk over the farm, watch birds and discover wildlife. Cloudless nights may invite stargazing. Hot summer days and evenings can be spent in and around the pool, while chilly evenings in winter are pleasant at the fire place sipping bone-warming Glühwein. In our large dining hall guests can dine fine or have a delicious breakfast. A fully licensed bar is available. Our menu varies and may be inspired by the wishes of our valued guests. Feel free to indicate your or your loved ones cravings and favourites when booking!
The communal kitchen offers self-catering facilities and a braai area on the stoep.
We are looking forward to welcome you!
