Suncake Hostel has dormitory rooms of 2/6/8/beds, each with individual single bed. The rooms are clean and tidy, newly painted and we provide: washing machine, strongbox, wireless, TV in living room, computers, refrigerators, kitchen and air conditioning.

The staff was very helpful and the atmosphere's friendly. It's cheap and is a short distance from the bus stop. There's a free shuttle from the high speed rail station.

the best selling point to this hostel would have to be the price which is next to nothing. the hostel is located right next to one of the main bus station which comes in very handy to mention to taxi drivers or locals when you're lost and have the hostel address with you. the lady who took care of the place was very nice and did whatever she could to help out. also the complimentary bread-roll for breakfast was also very nice of her.

The owner was very nice and kind, even though there were some problems like the toilet out of order, she was sincerely sorry and did everything possible to help. She also got up very early and prepared breakfast - which i wasn't expecting. So overall if you are not a fussy person - i would recommend this place.

This was a cheap hostel, and our two interactions with the hostel staff was pleasant. There is also a bus station (http://www.ebus.com.tw) five feet outside the hostel that you can catch a bus to Chiayi, Lakang, Tainan, Kaohsiung, etc.
