This hostel holds a special place in my heart for being the first place I stayed on my first forage out of Europe, as well as my first hostel. Its certainly -- well, characterful, and cheap! Very central. Just make sure you're not a light sleeper -- with a nightclub opposite. The staff are very friendly and laid-back, just don't expect luxury!

Simply the Best is located in a convinient central location so you can see all the attractions of Cape Town. The staff was very helpful for booking tours and friendly.
