Description
A new, silent, comfortable, youth hostel in the middle of the chaotic and young atmosphere of TAKSIM and BEYOGLU (New City Center)

If you are young and interested in being close to Entertainment, Art, Shopping and all other goods of a Multi-cultural European City, you probably prefer Taksim. In the recent years guide books started writing more and more the names \'Beyoglu, Taksim, Nevizade\' with the name \'night life, entertainment, culture, architecture, trendy\'. That means the main attractions of the city changed and People of Istanbul have been hanging out around these neighbourhoods.

Travellers, students, tourists always complain that they CAN NOT MEET so many Real Turkish People, while turkish people complain about not meeting tourists... Sofa Hostel is thought to be one those cosy places in which young people all over the world could meet their future Turkish Friends.

To smell the real character of Istanbul - Today, Sofa Hostel offers you to stay close to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street (the famous pedestrian street), Public Transportation (bus, minibus, subway, taxi, tram, funicular) all around the city and to the airport.

You can also get free information from the staff of the hostel about the new events and \'where to go, how to do\' instructions.

We provide from and to the airport transfer services, travel information for the travellers, booking help for the events like live concerts, football games, whirling dervishes shows, cinema, exhibitions, etc...

Taking the Havas Bus from the airport to Taksim Square will bring you 600 meters distance to our hostel.

Follow the Nostalgic Tram line into the Famous Istiklal Street. Take the 4th side street (Sadri Alisik Sokak) on your left (opposite the mosque with a white walled courtyard) and go down the street till you see the old Turkish Bath in the end, turn left and first right. It is the second building on your left.
