To recomend This hostel surprised me in a very positive way. It is definitely a place with character and atmosphere. Even if there is no kitchen the restaurant is just awesome -- food is fantastic and it is a great place to seat and enjoy your evening with others. It is not the cheapest place but all places around are private apartments without kitchen option as well, so in fact if you like to spent a night on the route 100 in Vermont it is the best option in my opinion. — Piotr , Poland (2010-07-23)

Beautiful hostel, but no kitchen and too expensive. I stayed in this hostel for just one night. The hostel was brand new and beautiful, good bunk beds, fluffy duvets, and very well decorated to give you the home away from home feeling. Actually the place was really really great and the reason I did not give it five stars is that there is no kitchen to use. They operate a restaurant as well so you can eat there if you want and have breakfast there, but if you do that for more days it is going to be much more expensive than you cook yourself and when I was there the restaurant was even closed. It would already be better if there were some plates and coffee/tea facilities so you can at least make your own breakfast. The second star is lost by the price. $30 for a bed in a dorm for a hostel somewhere on the country side is really too much and in the ski season they even charge $35. But if you don't mind being without kitchen and to pay a bit more than this place is really nice to stay in. — Carola , Netherlands (2009-08-30)
