Bilbao Akelarre Hostel is the first private youth hostel in Bilbao, created just for you in 2009. We offer a total of 38 beds in a hostel small and cosy enough to feel like home. We are very close to Deusto and Basque Country Universities in the District of Deusto.

We’re just 20 minutes’ walk from the Guggenheim, and 10 minutes from the Abandoibarra area of Bilbao, where you can find the Euskalduna Palace, Iberdrola's tower, Calatrava's bridge, Moneo's library, and even San Mamés, Bilbao's football cathedral!

Our hostel is situated in an area with a great street life, bars, restaurants, supermarkets… let us show you around!

Location	•From Bilbao Airport: you will find a marquee just outside the airport on the right, from where a bus leaves to the center. You have to get off at the stop bus station in Bilbao. From there take the metro in the direction of Santurtzi or Plentzia and get off at the next stop which is: DEUSTO. IRUÑA exit, walk down along the bicycle path until you reach the T crossing. Turn right and walk straight on for about ten minutes until you find us at the last building on the right-hand side (Morgan Street, 4-6). Best Hostel in Spain This Hostel is Brilliant! The owners and staff are super friendly and always willing to help. The Hostel is clean and well organised and is the best option in Bilbao, as it is also close to the city centre and the Guggenheim Museum.
