Tequila Sunset Hostal Reviews on Other Websites
5 The Tequila Sunset Hostal is really well located, just 5 mins walking to the Cathedral. It's a clean and fun place where to stay, the owners are friendly and young. The room is more than worth the money you spend. Great place.   — Giuliano Scilio (2011-05-30) Hostelbookers
5 The best hostel that I have stayed in anywhere in Mexico - the friendliest staff - so unbelievably kind, helpful and welcoming. Felt so at home. Brilliant atmosphere, really beautiful building, comfortable, safe, clean, fantastic coffee. Loved it. Really central, and in a fantastic part of town.   — Customer review (2011-05-02) Hostelbookers
5 This was our favorite hostel we've EVER stayed in! The staff were laid back, very friendly and really helpful. This hostel is small and cozy with local artists and musicians in and out showing their work & playing music. The kitchen is beautiful - newish appliances, plenty of pots and pans for cooking your own meals, and there were even a few evenings that the owner's brother cooked amazing food for everyone there! The ambiance is chill with a rooftop patio and an open-air courtyard. Sebastian keeps the place spic and span and will do your laundry for a small fee. The hostel is not only awesome, it's in the perfect spot. 3 blocks from the Jardin de Roses where you can get a great cappucino or cocktail, 5 blocks or so from the Mercado de Dulces where you can get any kind of sweet your heart desires, and maybe 8 blocks from the main plaza with tons going on. And don't miss eating icecream at the shop on the corner - the shopkeeper won't let you leave without tasting all of the flavors and she has delicious interesting ones like avacado, limon, chipotle chocolate and even pasta (tastes more like cake than pasta tho :-)   — Brooke Cassell (2011-03-13) Hostelbookers
This is a delightful hostel to stay in, beautiful courtyard- and it's in a delightful city. I had a whole dorm to myself - there just don't seem to be may backpackers around at the moment in some areas, but Morelia is certainly worth seeing- very sophisticated. The hostel is a perfect base for seeing the city and surrounding district. Good kitchen. Loved it   — Richard, England (2011-03-03) Hostelsclub
4 It's not far away from the historic center. The staff is very nice and helpful.   — Bernd Roemer (2010-12-23) Hostelbookers
5 The property is located in the Centro Historico so its great for walking around and seeing the sites in Morelia. But the best part is the staff--they're friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to book me on an organized tour to Lake Patzcuaro on short notice (I had a limited amount of time and didn't want the hassle of figuring out bus schedules). The hostel is staffed 24 hours so there is no curfew but the "quiet hours" are enforced so you can sleep. There's free Wifi and computer to use complete with audio equipment which is great for making skype calls back home. There's also a kitchen available to use and I have fun cooking Chinese food to share. But I would emphasize again what makes this hostel great is the staff and owner. They really do go out of their way to make all the guests feel welcomed and making sure the hostel feels like a home for all travelers.   — Fankai Tseng (2010-09-26) Hostelbookers
5 Very laid back, helpful staff and clean. Great location.   — Michael Gardiner (2010-06-21) Hostelbookers
4 It is clean and simple, yet has the things that you need. It's a little small though. I don't how that works when the hostal is full, but it was great because their wasn't much people there.   — Customer review (2009-11-16) Hostelbookers
5 The place in a few blocks from everthing. Clean, a great vibe.   — Customer review (2009-08-04) Hostelbookers
