Easy to find, only a short walk from city centre. Owner was very friendly. The kitchen was kept clean. Wish I'd stayed longer!

Good place to stay which is not very far from city center. Clean and comfortable. A bit difficult to find, but Tarik, the owner, came to us in 10 minutes. Extremely helpful guy, he repaired a scratch that we made parking our rent car! I also recommend his tunnel tour (museum and city). It is a good way to know more about Sarajevo, the Bosnian war, 1984 Winter Olimpics,...
I would definitely recommend Hostelmills Sarajevo.

The hostel was both clean and comfortable. As soon as i arrived i knew i wouldn't have to move or find somewhere else, as i was defiantly getting value for money. The other plus, was the hostel owner themselves, they we're always very helpful and friendly and went out their way to help me and my friends. a tip i would give if you are traveling from the train station to the hostel via taxi is NOT to pay over 15BAM (8euro). It also located in the very heart of the old town. All in all, one of the best hostels i stayed in so far.

Excellent place. Recently renovated. The man who runs the place is such a nice guy- felt a bit bad when we woke him up at 7am to check in, but he was very nice about it. The room was lovely. We had use of kitchen facilities with TV. Excellent location: less than 5 minutes walk up the hill from the old town centre. Overall a perfect place and would recommend to everybody :)

This hostel is spotless and conveniently located (streets mentioned in directions are small alleys. Turn left when you see a cemetery to the right when you walk up Kovaci street). Tarik is super helpful and warm once you get to know him better. He is also a tour guide - be sure to check out the city walking tour / tunnel tours. I prefer to check out cities on my own but was very glad to have joined the tour because they were very informative. The tour guides have great love and pride for the city. Definitely one of the cleaner hostels I've stayed at. I highly recommend it. suggestions: I know it had just opened when I stayed so it might've been improved since. Please install hooks for towels/clothes in the bathroom for the shower and keep a garbage basket in there as well. thank you!

A bit small, but very decent, tidy place! Major plusses for a clean little commonroom with a kitchen (microwave, fridge) and a lovely balcony! Location is good, though a bit uphill from the old town. 4/5 in it's category!

Initially difficult to find, this newly established hostel is small with a very friendly atmosphere. More of a flat with a kitchen, living area, balcony with sweet view and several dorm rooms (with other flats available). The owner is an official tour guide for the city and is very helpful with telling you the best places to go and what to do. When we arrived we were given a free 4 hour tour of the city by one of the staff! The main area for bars and clubs is a 2 minute walk away baš?ar?ija. Small hostel fun is probably dependant upon who you happen to run into whilst there, we have had a great time and would recommend this place highly!
