Loved style and forniture of common room and reception. The computer messed our booking so we were upgraded to a twin and still paid the dorm price.

The staff were really helpful and cool, the girl behind the desk even let me use her laptop for the net when mine didnt work. The kitchen and lounge was great. But the only downfalls with this hostel was the wi fi didnt work for me but for everyone else. it wasnt my computer because i got it checked. And there were no lockers in the rooms, and my room definitely had space for a ones. But overall a nice stay!!

I love it! I will go again! Good for solo traveller to meet new ppl from around the world! I have chatted with many and made many friends! =) Safe and clean to share with women! I enjoy my stay at the lady-only Pink hostel! Good location: near central park and central park north subway, there are convenience and food vendors in the neighborhood! I also went to the Hungarian Pastry Shop and St Paul Catherdral which are 2 blocks away on Amsterdam.

My stay at Pink Hostel in the City was excellent. Michelle, the manager, is the #1 reason why...she has such a friendly and outgoing -- and HELPFUL -- personality. And she makes every effort to make the guests feel comfortable ... and ... to introduce guests to one another. As a result, I had some wonderful visits with women from France, China, and Australia ... I never felt lonely ... although I was traveling by myself. Because it's brand new, Pink Hostel in the City is all fresh and clean ... and classy. Plus, it's particularly reaching out to artists, writers, and performers. When it reopens in March, the walls of Pink Hostel in the City will be adorned with some of the most happening, most interesting, and not-to-be-missed art ... by some of New York's finest female artists. There's no other place like it in New York City.
