The Lisbon Amazing Hostels (LAH) Bairro Alto - inaugurating in the 25th of April -is located in one of the most tradicional, tipicall and well knowed area - the FAMOUS BAIRRO ALTO.

We are located in Bairro Alto, right next to Chiado - wich means you have direct acess to the historical centre of Lisbon during the day - and during the night you´re also in the magical spot that is Bairro Alto.

Our romms are named after some bars located in Bairro Alto: we have an outoddor space terrace whit a grill, and all you can imagine to enjoy the sun, or just to have a perfect meal outside...while you´re inside.

Great location for partying as its right in the middle of the Bario Alto. If you dont want to party though, bring earplugs because the noise from the street is quite loud. Nice common room/loung.

the notice in reception asks guests to be quiet after 11pm...however this didn't happen..not so much a management issue as a guest issue..rooms are too near the main door and the buzzer drove me nuts all night..the staff are very helpful and the location is great for the metro,trams, nightlife and sightseeing.

Really nice rooms, comfy beds, large common room, well equipped kitchen, and a good friendly crowd- mainly European it seemed.

The girl at the reception knows barely how to speak english so its hard to communicate. The hostel is well siuated. The bathroom are discusting.

Loved Lisbon Amazing! Staff was helpful in getting us a cab for our early flight. They also gave us good information on what to do in town. They have a whole lounge area and two computers (although the one was having internet connection problems). I also really enjoyed the toast for breakfast. The hostel is very safe - it has a thumbprint scanner as a key - so cool! Great location if you plan on going out at night, since there are plenty of bars.

The location is excellent..very close to the city center and in a street full of smart shops and charming places where to spend Lisbon evenings and nights!!
From there you can reach the most important parts of the city in a few time even by walking (or if you prefer, by taking bus and trams - the stops are near).
The hostel is very coloured and clean..free access to the kitchen and living room! And the price is very convenient!!
